This was a new build house on a large garden area that a developer had acquired planning permission for. This was a 4 bedroom detached house with 3 bathrooms and an integrated garage. The house overlooks a farmers field and to satisfy the planning permission the house needed to be sunk into the ground to keep the ridge height low.

The house was built on traditional deep strip foundations, with brick and block-work cavity walls. The timber cut roof was finished with clay roof tiles. The elevations also had feature apex windows, Juliette balconies to 2 bedrooms and a cladding detail to the upper sections.

Internally the stairs were made of solid oak and had glass panels between the newel posts. A gloss white kitchen, quartz worktops and integrated appliances were also installed.
