Where possible, we aim to isolate any new extension project from the existing house for as long as practical, keeping any disruption for our clients to a minimum. If the new extension layout and programme allows us to, we prefer to form the openings towards the end of the project.
The pitched roof profile needed to match the neighbours extension. Velux windows were added over the kitchen area to give extra light over the preparation surfaces and throw light into the rear dining room area.
The new garage construction to the side of the house. Immediately behind the back of the garage is a new bathroom area.
Single storey with a pitched roof rear and side extension, with particular emphasis on matching the existing house and neighbouring extension. Loop constructed the superstructure up to and including the plastering. The client carried out much of their own finishes. We are always happy to discuss this arrangement with any of our clients.
Front - Completed
The external wall of the garage was installed right up to the boundary to give the client maximum use of the space available on this tapered plot. An automatic door was fitted to complete the garage.
